Honda will only lease a FCX to you if you live in a small area in southern California near a few experimental hydrogen refueling stations. The number of stations was supposed to grow with the number of FCXs, but it was an expensive car that had a range limited by fuel availability. nobody bought the car, so no gas stations wanted hydrogen capabilities. Infrastructure is keeping hydrogen from becoming a thing.

yeah, there were only 50 in the us and cost $600/mo but that included insurance and hydrogen. I think they discontinued the program last year though
